The reproductions that we
are offering are called Giclee Prints. The image is first imported
into the computer. It can be scanned in or retrieved from a digital
camera. The color is then balanced to closely resemble the original
art work. After that, it is printed onto canvas or watercolor paper
with a sophisticated piece of equipment, similar to a high resolution
ink jet printer , by spraying ink on the selected surface. We use
archival papers and inks to produce a long lasting product. As with
all art prints, proper framing behind glass is recommended for display,
and exposure to sunlight should be avoided.
You can find paintings available as giclee prints in the paintings
gallery. |
